How To Fix Google Play Motorola Link Issues

The recent major change of turning Android Market into Google Play is quite positive news, but for some Motorola users it turned out to be a big pain in the rear. The problems concerned to some types of Blur, more specifically the update broke their special Moto Blur link to the Market in the app drawer, and when tapping the app icon, instead of heading to Google Play, the phone delivered the following message: “Application is not installed on your phone”. Despite this, some other users have been quite confused because of the disappearance of Market icon as well, but that's a relatively minor issue.

Despite the fact that there was a new functional link labeled Play Store, majority of the users still didn’t notice it and were again supposing the usual Market link to work. However Google has just pushed out the Google Play update coded 3.4.7 for all devices, said to fix the broken link problem for Motorola users.

The update is expected to be delivered automatically, but if you appear not to be getting it, follow the steps below to force the update:

1. Navigate to Settings and select Apps
2. Click on “Manage Apps”.
3. Find Market under the “All” tab and press clear data.
4. Now open the recently updated Play Music app (Google Music).
5. Tap the small Market icon in the bottom tray and Confirm Google Play upgrade.

It is that simple. You can now enjoy the updated and better functional Google Play on your Android device.
