Samsung Unveils GALAXY S WiFi 4.2, GALAXY Beam And Galaxy Note 10.1 At MWC

MWC 2012 DAY 1 - Meet Galaxy Note 10.1 Android tablet from Samsung – as predicted, the Note tablet is unveiled, and now we can make sure that Galaxy Note with a 5.3-inch display definitely is a phone. Soon after Apple introducing Textbooks and iTunes U for students, emphasizing the importance of technology in education, Samsung comes up with this new device, stressing the easy learning too.

The new tablet was unveiled at MWC day 1, aiming to expand the GALAXY Note experience in creativity, productivity, and learning. Featuring S Note, a unique and efficient tool that lets you combine notes or sketches together with web content, images and other digital media into your own personalized storyboards, GALAXY Note 10.1 gives you a new way to create stories as S Note provides various ready-to-use templates such as meeting minutes, recipe, cards, diary, magazine and more. The tab also features integrated knowledge search engines so the users can quickly search, obtain information, and easily drag & drop the cropped images and content onto S Notes without having to switch between screens. 

Ensuring intuitive multitasking and web browsing, GALAXY Note 10.1 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and features a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and HSPA+ connectivity. We will come back with more details about the Galaxy Note 10.1 soon, so keep tracking.


One more product showcased at MWC, this time emphasizing the best of Android experiences with powerful gaming on the go, is Galaxy S Wi-Fi 4.2, announced with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The device features 4.2-inch display, 512MB of RAM and comes in 8GB or 16GB versions, with a 1 GHz processor and 1500 mAh battery. 

The promised unforgettable gaming experience is said to be further enhanced with the superior SoundAlive audio system Galaxy S Wi-Fi 4.2 comes with, offering great sound either through a front stereo speaker or headphones. A featured gyroscope sensor enables the user to control the device by moving it, providing truly appealing and intuitive gaming.


One more smartphone, Samsung GALAXY Beam was also introduced, dubbed as a “projector smartphone” that allows users to display and share multimedia content anywhere on a large luminous projector screen. The device is said not to compromise on style or portability despite featuring a full built-in projector and is just 12.5mm thick. Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread just like the Galaxy S Wi-Fi 4.2, the phone is powered by an impressive 1.0GHz dual-core processor, ensuring great versatility and a highly responsive user interface. The phone comes with 8GB of internal memory, allowing multimedia storage without compromises and a powerful 2000 mAh battery that ensures greater display power and content freedom.
